We sat down with the lovely Lani Rei for a chat about being an adult content creator.
How did I get into the industry?
I was looking for a side hustle and reading articles about sex workers and their experiences, I got curious and put myself out there as a sugar baby. When I realized how fun and lucrative it could be it opened up a whole new world to me, so I moved into full service escorting. I then started creating online content for my clients which eventually lead to filming porn for my fans.
Why did I get into the industry?
I’ve always had an interest in performing arts, I did theater as a kid and acting classes all throughout school, certain life circumstances put those dreams on hold until I found this industry and was finally able to express myself through filming.

I haven’t worked for a porn company yet, I enjoy being independent and filming content I genuinely enjoy making but I would be open to filming with the right company.
What’s the best thing about being in the industry?
Being my own boss and being able to meet so many interesting people everywhere I go.
Any advice for newcomers?
Get into porn for the right reasons, Be passionate, pay your dues, learn camera and body angles, come in with your own unique ideas, have good intentions, stay up to date with health checks, be respectful, self confidence is sexy, and be patient with it. You may have bad experiences along the way but don’t let those bad experiences define your potential or limit what you can achieve.
Do you watch porn?
Because I have worked with so many amazing creators that produce content that I genuinely enjoy watching, I find myself constantly surrounded by porn without having to seek it out.
What’s your favorite porn?
Hard question to answer because I love everything from vanilla to hardcore gay/lesbian porn. As long as the porn I’m watching has a POV close up then I’m happy.
