We sat down with Chloe Amour for a talk about pornstar things 🙂 Here’s what she had to say.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx then moved to Los Angeles, California when I was 22 to start doing porn. I’ve done everything from photo shoots, video shoots, cam shows, convention meet and greets and feature dancing. I became a Latina Sensation. I’ve been an AVN & XBIZ Awards nominee throughout the start of my career up until 2018. I took a mental health break from the industry in Dec 2018 and returned mid-July of 2023.
Outside of porn: I enjoy yoga, hiking, karaoke, going to the movies, trying new restaurants, going to music festivals / shows concert, traveling etc. Most people don’t know this about me but I’m predominantly introverted and a homebody. So when I’m not working or going out, I like to spend alone time at home with my animals. I have three dogs and three cats. I love animals and nature.
During my hiatus, I learned how important self-care is. I’ve returned to the industry more focused and wiser. I missed being a part of my community with fellow sex workers and being more involved with the adult entertainment industry. I never officially retired so I felt like I owed it to my fans to properly comeback and reinvent myself. I’ve always been categorized as a Latina in the industry but now I’ve been given another title “Milf”. In porn world, you’re either a “Teen” or a “Milf”. There’s not much of an in between category so it’s been interesting coming back and do these type of scenes.
I’m looking forward to all the new sites/companies I get to shoot for and all the new performers I get to shoot with. Also thrilled to shoot for companies and with people I already know. It’s always nice to see familiar faces and I’ve been welcomed back with open arms. It’s nice to be booked and busy but still have complete control of my life path.
How did you get into the industry?
I shot photos and video for Playboy Plus then was soon contacted by a porn agent through Model Mayhem and took the plunge.

What’s the best thing about working in the industry?
Trying new things, meeting new people, having financial freedom, sexual liberation having a more flexible schedule, the career opportunities, women empowerment, traveling and personal growth.
Any advice for newcomers?
I suggest doing research before making commitments. Understand everything you shoot will be on the internet forever. Have a plan. Talk with different agents to get info about what’s expected of you for shoots etc. they want to book you for, before signing contracts. For bookings, make sure you know who you’re working for, who with, how much you will be compensated and when you’ll be paid. Buy your domain name asap and start a business. Save money and pay your taxes. Most importantly, have fun! Protect yourself from burnout and stay on top of your health so you can always give your best performance. Invest your money for any future endeavors. Stay true to yourself.
