We sat down with Alexis Down Under to have a chat about all things in regards to adult content creation and porn.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m 29 from Brisbane, Australia.
How did you get into the industry?
I got into the industry after a friend suggested I should post on Reddit for a little confidence boost. After building up the guts, I posted on Reddit in April of 2022 and received a lot of great feedback. Users had started asking for my only fans account and initially I didn’t have one. After a couple of weeks, I finally created an account and the rest is history.
Why did you get into the industry?
Initially, I had created an Only Fans account for extra money. I had always had a huge curiosity about content creation but I was really unsure as to how successful it would be and if anyone would even want to see my body at all. But in May of 2022, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and a month after that, I wasn’t allowed to work my day job or drive due to the seizures caused by the brain tumor.
It was a very stressful time because I was incredibly stressed about having a tumor, and then on top of that I had lost my full time wage and the cost of living/interest rates started to rise. I used the time I had to take my content creation really seriously and it ended up saving me from complete financial devastation. I am forever thankful for the multiple platforms that enabled me to keep busy and pay my bills while giving me the flexibility to rest pre and post operative.
Who have you worked with?
I have worked with Aurora Angel, Kiki Isobel, Mr LDN LAD, MagnusBNE, Bryton Blue, Amber Wilde and Bonnie Blue.
Who have you worked for?
I haven’t worked for anyone.
What’s the best thing about working in the industry?
The best thing about the adult industry is how open minded and judgment-free everyone is. I have met so many amazing and beautiful people. The flexible working hours is a huge benefit especially for my situation. Recovering from brain surgery is a long process and there’s days where I’m bed bound from fatigue or am suffering from migraines. On those bad days, I’m capable of some work but I limit it. On my good days, I can put all my energy into it and be responsive to my subscribers and create custom content. The flexibility is life changing and suites my current medical status.
Advice for newcomers?
My biggest advice for newcomers is to be yourself, figure out what your niche is, establish your personal boundaries, be open-minded, be safety conscious and focus on high quality content including high res images and a good lighting set up/ a well lit room. I always make sure that my environment is clean and free from clutter because unnecessary objects or a dirty environment will detract from the content you’re creating eg. a dirty mirror, an unmade bed, clothes scattered on the floor etc.
Do you watch porn?
I actually don’t watch porn for pleasure and never have. I purely watch it to learn different camera angles or different positions. I know that sounds ridiculous but I think real life experiences is what gets me off. I was a complete prude until I dived into the world of Only Fans.
What’s your favorite niche porn?
Stuck porn is hilarious. I think it appeals to me because I have a good sense of humor and it’s so much fun to make fun of. Coming up with a new genre in modern times is incredibly innovative and clever. I have respect for the person that created that genre.
What is your favorite sex position?
My all time fav position is doggy style.
